A White Trash Zombie's Life and Review

My Life as A White Trash Zombie

by Diana Rowland

Don't let the title of this book push you away. As cheesy as it may sound this book packs a crazy punch, succinct story line and a group of fun and relateable characters. It's not all (completely) gore and your typical moaning zombie that wants to eat flesh and tear people apart, nope, Diana Rowland did this story right.

Set in good ol' Louisiana, somewhere near the Bayou, this story takes you into the life of Angel Crawford, an ex junkie, ex trashy, ex hussie that gets into an accident and wakes up in a hospital without a scratch on her. She doesn't remember much of what happened but she does know that there is something very different about the way she feels. She can't get high, she isn't hungry for her normal eats and the smell of brains at her new job in the morgue is disgustingly delicious.

My Life As A White Trash Zombie is just as fun of a read as the title conveys and Diana Rowland's writing is smooth and succinct making for a fast paced adventure. Rowland's characters are layered and relateable and her dialogue between them is witty and enjoyable.

We recommend this My Life As A White Trash Zombie for zombie fans and anyone looking for a light and fun read.
